Southeast Participates in ATTC Director's Meeting and CPDD Travel Awardee Events

Southeast ATTC to co-sponsor Mini-Medical School Training

You are graciously invited to attend the 2009 Mini-Medical School presented by African American Researchers and Scholars Workgroup at Morehouse School of Medicine, 720 Westview Drive, SW, Atlanta, GA 30310 in the Louis H. Sullivan Auditorium in the National Center for Primary Care (NCPC) building on Monday, July 20, 2009 from 8am to 5pm. This day-long event is sponsored by National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) and will deal with the important issue of Marginalized African American
Males.

The Mini-Medical School will highlight drug abuse and mental health
topics affecting African American males. This event is FREE and open to the public. Please access our online registration by clicking the link below and completing the registration form. There, you will also find the agenda for the complete list of speakers and important topics.

If you have friends or colleagues you would like to invite, please feel free to forward this email. A box lunch will be provided. Parking is $5. If you are eligible, you will receive six (6) CEU credits. You will be
able to sign up for CEU credits during registration.

Please join us at the Morehouse School of Medicine for the Health Disparity Luncheon presentation on Tuesday August 4, 2009 from 12-2pm. Presenting on Aspects of Integrating Primary Care and Behavioral Health is presenter Ruth Shim, MD, MPH , Assistant Professor for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Morehouse School of Medicine.
